About Bryant Livingston

A purchasing agent with the Salem VA Medical Center, Bryant Livingston brings more than 20 years of federal service to his role in the purchase and tracking of medical supplies. His responsibilities include ordering special equipment for the VA Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, Facility Management, and other departments, and following up to ensure their timely arrival. Bryant Livingston also communicates between warehouse staff and inventory management specialists to resolve any order problems.

Previously, Mr. Livingston worked in the laundry room of the hospital, where, in addition to operating laundry equipment and training staff members, he occasionally assisted with driving the laundry truck to distribute clean linen throughout the facility. Earlier in his career, he worked as a licensed life and health insurance agent with American Income Life Insurance and as a regional security manager for BTI Security Company. In the latter role, he oversaw proper staffing and security protocols for a number of sites in Washington, DC.

Outside of work, Bryant Livingston enjoys basketball, football, tennis, and golf.
